Really? Christmas Cheer? Yeah.... Not feelin' it.

Not feeling the whole Christmassy, happy thing right now.

So I decided to focus on something that always makes me happy. My kids.

This Monday Hope and I are going to Disneyland, just the two of us. I'm very excited about it.

So as I'm sitting here fighting tears and trying to find the joy that I seemd to have misplaced - I started looking at old pictures - and found a bunch of me and Hope together.

Every one of them made me smile. Every one of them brought back a good memory.

So I'm posting them.

They probably won't do much for you, but that's okay.

They're doing a lot for me...

Hope, 4 months old

Hope, 8 months old

Hope, 14 months old

Hope, 2 years old

Hope, 3 years old

Hope, 4 years old

Hope, 5 years old

Hope, 6 years

Hope, 7 years old

GREAT pictures. Loved em! Brought back memories to me, too.

Disneyland is a great place to get the "Christmasy" feelings, that's for sure. (That is, if your feet survived being run over a dozen times by strollers. We were there briefly last night. I was the stroller driver, but no matter how carefully I was "driving," I kept running into feet. It was SOOOOOO crowded. But still beautiful.

I am sorry you are feeling sad...I love the pictures and totally understand that feeling. We went to Disneyland yesterday...thanks for suggesting Winnie the Pooh ride. Kaleb loved it! Have a good weekend :)

Beautiful pictures of two beautiful people...(some of my favorite people by the way.) Sorry to hear you're feeling blue. If it helps, looking at one of the younger pictures of Hope drew my mind back to the days when I watched her at your house. "Watched" her as in watching her accidentally roll right off the couch. Oops! Trying to get to her before she fell was like watching a movie in slow motion. I was tooooo laaattteeeee....It's probably a good thing that arrangment didn't work out for very long. Hope's smarter because I wasn't in charge of her!

LOVE the pics!!! My favorite is when you have on the tiara!
BTW I am not totally into the Christmas thing this year either. It's ok, you are not a bad person if you don't like Christmas this year, i promise you.

Adorable pictures! You two are so cute together, you're little "mini me". I know you are used to living in S.Cal, but I used to have a hard time getting into Christmas when I lived there. Not here though! Snow on the ground, kids out of school (b/c of snow) and some great Christmas music on "The Fish"! I hope Disney does the trick for you. What a wonderful fun day for the two of you! I am so jealous! You went to Disneyland for the day!? It does, I'm sure, help to live in Southern California where Disneyland is nearby - versus halfway across the country and only a trip taken once in a lifetime!
LOVE the pictures - I think you two are growing into each other - she is getting older and looking more like you and you are looking YOUNGER in each picture and looking more like Hope!
Thanks for sharing the pictures.

In the picture where Hope is lying on the couch and drinking her bottle - you look JUST like YOUR mom. I'm sure Christmas time is a lonely for your Mama time of year. I'm so sorry. I'm glad the pictures of Hope helped for a little while.
I LOVE YOU!
