Example, PertPlus can take off oil stains off your drive-ways. Umm... is that something that is good for your hair? NO!
Do NOT use any kind of "stripper" like baking soda or anything. It will NOT be good on your hair color. Trust me.

Washing your hair too much can make hair extra oily. You can wet if everyday and use conditioner but try not to shampoo everyday. It will make it worse... I promise you.

Try only using conditioner on the ends of your hair. That is where conditioner is supposed to be used.

Next, when your hair is dry, I really like hair powders to help add body and adsorb any oil. A cheap way to achieve the same thing is baby powder. It is a miracle worker. Just make sure after you add to your hair you brush it really well, so there is no white or ashy looking residue left in your hair.

If you have more questions or need me to get you some shampoo and stuff at my cost, let me know.christie walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08907351427383231130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7458148441049177548.post-84132402209574803702008-11-14T10:34:00.000-08:002008-11-14T10:34:00.000-08:00My solution was to let most of it fall out and cut...My solution was to let most of it fall out and cut the rest of it really short. After years of spending waaaaay to much on Biolage, Nexus, Aveda, and all those other brands that promise beautiful hair, I finally found the perfect balance for my hair: Head and Shoulders shampoo. It's a 2 in one shampoo plus conditioner. I know, sounds crazy, but i am not even kidding you....i get compliments on how shiny my hair is constantly. And, every time i go for a cut, my hairdresser always comments on how healthy my hair is. You might give it a try! I even helped her several times to make sure she was rinsing well enough, etc. Changed shampoos several times too. Our hair stylist said to shampoo the hair, and then work in baking soda with the shampoo to strip the hair. It worked great!! Her hair was all soft and great again. Baking soda!!! Unfortunately for you, my hair issues are the exact opposite! However, I use Aussie products (the purple bottles) for my poofy, curly hair, and they work very well with my issues. SO maybe their products for heavy, limp hair will also be good! It's pretty cheap, so it may be worth a shot!Lisa Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13613805284802360702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7458148441049177548.post-69342037095640450372008-11-13T15:22:00.000-08:002008-11-13T15:22:00.000-08:00Oh my goodness....I am sitting here debating if I ...Oh my goodness....I am sitting here debating if I should just run to Supercuts or something for a new do because my hair is feeling greasy, heavey, and gross! I will either do something stupid or go and have someone cut it and have them recommend a new shampoo or something. I could just go out and get a new box of dye and that will make me feel better for about a week...lol. But I have no tips or no advice....sorry. :)Sarah B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08275564927380166304noreply@blogger.com
